Learn how batting averages and player statistics are computed by playing a variety of games. Have fun using actual baseball cards to create your own team and compete against other teams in the class. (This class is intended for students who have a solid understanding of basic math facts.) |

Learn the skills necessary for success in school. Learn how to determine what is important to study, how to plan your time, and how to design a suitable environment for study at home. Participate in activities designed to help reduce anxiety and increase your speed while maintaining accuracy during tests. Notetaking, outlining, library and resource material usage will be included. |

| Have fun joining a marching band under the direction of a high school band director. No experience necessary. Bring your brass, wind or percussion instrument (sorry, no strings) while you review playing technique, learn marching skills and practice marching band songs. This is great preparation for high school marching band. |
