Have fun beginning to learn to understand and speak Mandarin Chinese. You will be taught by an experienced language teacher from the South Bay Chinese School, which is currently partnered with the PVPUSD in the FLAP program at Lunada Bay, Pt. Vicente, Palos Verdes Intermediate, and Palos Verdes High schools. You will also learn to recognize some basic simplified Chinese characters.

Have fun learning Italian. You will be introduced to new words through games and puzzles. Have conversations about food, movies, pets and the music you enjoy. Get a taste of the culture and find out where the "toga" came from. Learn a bit of Italy's history through the adventures of the Roman warriors. You will be taught by an experienced teacher from the Academy of Foreign Languages.
